Alongside any Committee members involved in the production, the directors are responsible for unlocking and locking the theatre, and the keys used to access the theatre.
Directors will be given the code to the lockbox, located on the outside door to the ginnel, at the far end of the building on the right hand side. The key in the lockbox is able to unlock both the front door (the main entrance to the auditorium — also known as the Barn Doors within the theatre), and to the green room doors.
Important: once the key is used to unlock doors to the theatre, they must be put back into the lockbox and not left out. Similarly, once the theatre has been locked, the key must be put back into the lockbox. The key is not to be taken home.
The door to the bio box is to remained locked when not in use. Directors will be told the location of the bio box key during their induction.
Please note, however, that access of the bio box, and the technology within it, should generally be restricted to the Tech Crew.
